STATESBORO, Ga. – From unveiling of the expansion of Paulson Stadium to the first Thursday night games in 25 years, Georgia Southern's 2014 home Football season promises to be a special one. Season tickets for the Eagles' inaugural home campaign in the FBS and Sun Belt go on sale today, May 1st, online at GSEagles.com, by phone at 1-800-GSU-WINS and in person at the Athletics Ticket Office at 203 Lanier Drive.
In addition to online, phone and on-campus sales, season tickets can also be purchased at this month's Coaches' Caravan events beginning Thursday in Macon and at Friday's event in Augusta. VISA, MasterCard and cash are accepted.
Season ticket prices remain the same for 2014 as 2013 with good seats available in several sections throughout Paulson Stadium. Season tickets are as low as $75 for all five home games. Sold out sections or sections where seats are limited are listed at the bottom of this article.
Sections B and F in the south stands have both chair-back and bleacher season tickets available with chair-back seats requiring a donation of $300 and tickets priced at $130 each. Bleacher seats in Sections B & F are $125 and $135 in sections C and E, all requiring a donation of $120 per year, to purchase season tickets in those locations.
Mid-field tickets in section D, on the south side of Paulson Stadium, and the 50-yard-line view from the mid-deck in section LL are $145 with a donation of $600 necessary for purchasing season tickets in these areas.
Another option for premium seating in the north stands, seats at the Club level in sections 105, 106, 108 and 109 are $210 each. Seating in these sections requires a minimum donation of $600 to the Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation. Starting at the 15-yard line on either side of the north stands, Club seats are $140 each (sections 103, 104, 110 and 111) with an annual donation of $300. The same donation is needed for Club seating in sections 101, 102, 112 and 113 on each side of the north stands where tickets are $130 each.
Members-only access to an air-conditioned entertainment space, heavy hors d'oeuvres, beverage selections and soft drinks each home game are the amenities offered in the Bishop Club. Chair-back seats in this section for the 2014 season are $425 each. Seats in the Bishop Club require a minimum donation of $1,200.
The grass hill section in the southwest corner of Paulson Stadium is a popular option and was already limited to 300 Family Plan seats with access only for those season ticket holders. This great value is available for $145 for two tickets to each of the five home games games. Additional Family Plan tickets are $75 each. The Eagle Family Plan in sections JJ and KK offer two reserved seats for all home games for $145 with the same option to purchase additional seats at $75 each. Donations are not required for Eagle Family Plan season tickets.
With the purchase of four or more seats in sections JJ and KK, families or friends can save up $50 compared to single-game ticket prices. Single-game tickets, however, will not be sold for the grass hill seating area.
A limited number of seats are available in the Bishop Club and Sections D, 105, 106, 108 and 109. Chair-back seats in Sections B and F and the Family Plan grass seats are also limited. The Eagle Club, Stadium Club, Sections C and E chair-backs and Section 107 are sold out.
