Laser grading on Glenn Bryant Field taking place today, Thursday, July 3rd. In the next few days, the grass will be visible again.

STATESBORO, Ga. -- Preparations taking place on the field as 75 tons of sand was brought in for laser grading today. Elevation points of reference are taking at the center and the sidelines and communicated to the grading maching. By the end of today, July 3rd, about 60 percent of the grass will be visible again. After irrigation and hopefully, some summer rain, sand will settle and fill in some areas that needed to be brought up..
