Special “Traditions” Homecoming Items Available in University Store

adidas ClimaLITE pullover and dual-logo cap debut Tuesday

STATESBORO, Ga. – The Georgia Southern University Store will carry two special adidas "Traditions" Homecoming apparel items, a quarter-zip pullover and flex-fit baseball cap. Both items will be available both in the on-campus store, Paulson Stadium store and online Tuesday. Homecoming Week begins Monday with alumni and campus events, culminating with the Eagles' Football game Saturday vs. Sun Belt Conference opponent Idaho. Kickoff at Allen E. Paulson is set for 6 p.m.
The lead-colored adidas pullover, of ClimaLITE technology, features a quarter-zip "Olympic" neckline and is perfect for moderate temperatures. Detailing with a large white stripe across the back and onto the sleeves replicates the current Georgia Southern coaches' sideline gear with the embroidered GS logo that was used in years past on the left side of the chest of the pullover and adidas logo on the right side. Available in sizes small through 2XL, the pullover retails for $74.99.
For the first time ever, the University Store is offering a dual-logo "Traditions" cap which features both the Georgia Southern Athletics logo on the front of the silver gray flex fit cap and Georgia Southern University's academic "Eagle head" logo on the back. Two comfortable sizes, small/medium and large/extra-large, will be available beginning Monday both in the on-campus store and online, and are $22.99 each.
Orders placed online at GSUStore.com may be picked up at the University Store or can be shipped for an additional cost.
Georgia Southern faculty and staff receive a 10 percent discount on all apparel purchases when they present their ID card.
The University Store is open Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Gameday hours for the Georgia Avenue location are 11 a.m-5 p.m. The stores at Paulson Stadium will open when the gates open.
