Football Team Recognized for Florida Win at Halftime of Thursday’s Men’s Basketball Game

Free Admission for Students and Active and Retired Military Members with valid ID
STATESBORO, Ga. – The Georgia Southern Football team will be recognized for its incredible win over Florida at halftime of the Men's Basketball game at Hanner Fieldhouse on Thursday, January 30th. The Eagles stunned the Gators in "The Swamp" in the season finale. Eagle Nation is invited to attend the game Thursday to honor members of the Eagle team who helped Georgia Southern gain its first-ever BCS victory and recognize the 2013 seniors.
Thursday's Men's Basketball game, which has been designated as the Military Appreciation game, tips off at 7 p.m. All active and retired members of the military are admitted free with $5 tickets available for family of military members and retirees at the entrance. Georgia Southern and East Georgia Regional College students are admitted free with a valid student I.D. Doors open at 6 p.m. Ticket sales at Hanner Fieldhouse are cash only.
The halftime recognition of the Eagle Football team will begin after a swearing-in ceremony for cadets from Georgia Southern's Eagle Battalion.
