Open Letter from Athletics Director Tom Kleinlein

Eagle Nation,
I want to thank you for attending Saturday's football game against Savannah State and understanding that most of Allen E. Paulson Stadium is currently a construction zone.
Please be patient with us this season as we work through this so that we can bring you an even better Paulson Stadium in 2014. Our night started with a bang as we had to put our lightning policy into action, and I appreciate everyone's cooperation with exiting the stadium.
I want to thank our stadium personnel for all their efforts Saturday night including the one who stopped to check my credentials. I appreciate a person who does their job professionally.
I do realize that there are some things we need to continue to improve to enhance our Eagle Nation game experience. I am working with the University Store to fully stock the bookstore with official adidas team merchandise. As we get product delivered, we will get the bookstore shelves stocked for our fans. I know our fans want to wear what the Eagles are wearing. We appreciate your feedback.
I have gotten positive feedback regarding our new version of Eagle Walk and the addition of smoke to our team entrance. We will continue to improve these as we move forward.
Our game experience is important, and we will keep working to make it an awesome experience for our fans and all of Eagle Nation.
