Meet the Eagles Set for August 17th

STATESBORO, GA. – Georgia Southern's annual Meet the Eagles event is set for Saturday, August 17th, at the Eagle Soccer Field. The event will be the first opportunity for fans to pick up their 2013 #TrueBlue Schedule Poster.
Fans are asked to line up at the main entrance to the Eagle Soccer Field with gates set to open at 9:45. Fans can pick up their poster inside the front gate and make their way around the track to get player signatures.
Members of the Georgia Southern football, volleyball, men's soccer and women's soccer teams will sign autographs for approximately an hour before the football squad heads over to Paulson Stadium for the 2013 team picture. The football team's scrimmage will start after the team picture inside Paulson Stadium.
The 2013 #TrueBlue Schedule Posters will be released later this week exclusively on Facebook.com/GSAthletics. The volleyball team's poster will be unveiled on Wednesday, the soccer poster on Thursday, followed by the football poster on Friday.
The Eagle football team kicks off the 2013 season vs. Savannah State on August 31st at 6 p.m. at Paulson Stadium. To purchase tickets, call 1-800-GSU-WINS or order online at GSEagles.com/tickets.
The Men's Soccer team opens the home schedule on Aug. 30th at 7:30 p.m. against Winthrop in the SoCon Big South Challenge. GSU Women's Soccer hosts Stetson on September 6th at 7 p.m. while the Volleyball team plays at home for the first time on Sept. 10th versus Georgia at Hanner Fieldhouse.
