STATESBORO, Ga. – It wouldn't be August in Statesboro if it wasn't hot, muggy and gnatty, three things that signal the start of Georgia Southern Football practice on the banks of "Beautiful Eagle Creek." The Eagles report to camp Wednesday, July 31st, a month before the 2013 season opener, and start preseason practice on Thursday, August 1st. Coach Jeff Monken is altering his practice schedule slightly with 10 a.m. practices the following two days, August 2nd and 3rd. Twenty-one practices are on the schedule with two-a-day workouts on August 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th 14th and 16th.
Times for the complete preseason practice schedule will be updated on GSEagles.com. Dates, times, and locations are subject to change and may be suddenly impacted by weather conditions.
