Eagles Partner with SIDEARM for All-New gseagles.com

STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern Athletics has entered into a partnership with SIDEARM Sports to create an all-new gseagles.com. The website, which will launch in the near future, will be feature-packed in an easy to use interface.
"We are excited to join with SIDEARM Sports to form a new easy to use website that will provide fans one site for all of their Georgia Southern news, tickets and shopping needs. The website provides more opportunities to increase exposure for our student-athletes and revenue opportunities for the department. We have also heard from fans that they want access to live stats on their mobile devices and this site will meet those needs," said Athletics Director Tom Kleinlein.
Features of the new website include an all-access section with live streams and archives of Eagle games and features and interviews with coaches and players, calendar with all upcoming contests, one-touch links to social media, tickets, Athletic Foundation and on-line bookstore.
The new deal will also include a full suite of mobile features for fans using tablets and phones. The website, live stats and video streams can all be accessed on Android, iOS and Windows phones. Fans can also sign up for text alerts which will provide final scores, news, promotions and tickets deals directly to your phone.
Headed by Jeff Rubin, the SIDEARM Staff is comprised of nearly fifty designers, developers, project managers, and customer support members, many of whom worked in college athletics before coming to SIDEARM. SIDEARM Sports provides the software and technology that powers the websites, livestats, and video streaming for over 600 colleges, universities and high schools across North America.
