
Eagles-Mountaineers Game Selected for League’s Football Package on ESPN3

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Georgia Southern's October 26th football game at Appalachian State will be telecast as part of the Southern Conference's eight-game package with ESPN3, the league announced today. The 2013 season marks the third consecutive year the SoCon has partnered with ESPN3. Game time in Boone, N.C., is set for 3:30 p.m.
ESPN3 is available in approximately 75 million homes to fans who receive their Internet connection from an affiliated service provider and the network is also available at no cost to 21 million U.S. college students and U.S.-based military personnel. ESPN3 programming is also available to subscribers through Xbox LIVE and through the free WatchESPN app available on smartphones and tablets. The WatchESPN app is also now available through Apple TV.
Veteran broadcaster and former SoCon football player Paul Maguire will provide the analysis with Darren Goldwater returning to handle play-by-play duties for the league's telecasts.
