Renewal Period Begins for Georgia Southern Football Season Tickets

STATESBORO, Ga. – With a click or a call, Georgia Southern season ticket holders can renew their seats for the 2013 Football season in just a matter of minutes. The Athletics Ticket Office mailed renewal packets to Eagle fans who held 2012 season tickets and also sent via e-mail a unique link to make the process even easier and more convenient. The Athletics Ticket Office will also assist ticket holders in person or on the phone during regular business hours Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. at 1-800-GSU-WINS (478-9467). The deadline for renewals is Wednesday, May 15th.
Season ticket prices for the six home games in the 2013 campaign at Allen E. Paulson Stadium remain the same as last year with benefits and rewards for Eagle fans who opt to renew early.
On the South side of Paulson Stadium between the 40-yard lines, seats in Section D are $145 each and an annual donation of $600 to the Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation is required for purchase. Flanking the center section, season tickets for seats with back support in Sections C and E are $140 each with an annual $300 donation. Bleacher seats in those sections cost $135 each and a $120 annual donation is mandatory to purchase in that location.
Sections B and F offer seating with backs for $130 per season ticket and no annual donation is required as part of this purchase. On the North side of Paulson Stadium, seats in Sections J and K are also exempt from the annual donation with a price of $135 each.
Eagle Club seats are sold out for the 15th consecutive year. Names can be placed on the waiting list and a $1200 annual donation to the Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation is required should openings become available.
Family Plan tickets return for 2013 as an economical way for families or friends to enjoy reserved seats for all six home games. Seats in the lower level of Section B have been added to those available in Sections A and G as part of the Family Plan. Each season ticket is $85 with a minimum purchase of three tickets required. No annual donation is required.
Eagle fans who renew their seats by April 15th will be entered into a drawing to win four tickets to "The Swamp" for the Eagles-Gators game in Gainesville, Fla., on November 23rd and earn an exclusive invitation to one of the team's fall practices. An additional benefit for those who decide to renew early is optional enrollment in a five-month plan to manage payments for ticket packages through August.
The 2013 renewal packet includes an order form for away games at Florida and Appalachian State. Due to the limited number of tickets made available to Georgia Southern, the Priority Points system, established through Eagle Fund donations, will be used to determine distribution. All order forms for those away game ticket requests must be returned no later than June 15th.
Eagle fans interested in purchasing football season tickets for the first time may select from remaining seats beginning May 25th after renewals have been processed.
