Off Week and Upsets Bump Eagles to 24th in Sports Network Poll

Georgia Southern back in action at Appalachian State Saturday
Georgia Southern remained in the poll for the 39th-straight week, but was bumped to number 24 following its open weekend. In its first year transitioning to FBS, the Eagles are being considered for weekly rankings and honors from the Sports Network, but are not eligible to be ranked in the weekly national coaches poll.
The Eagles are back in action this week, traveling to Boone, N.C., for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff against Appalachian State on Saturday, October 26th. Tickets for Saturday's game are available through the ASU Athletics Ticket Office by phone at 828-262-2079 or online at appstatesports.com.
