STATESBORO, Ga. - The Eagle Football Alumni Association (EFAA) is launching a Lost Lettermen Countdown Campaign that will run for 99 days beginning on January 11, 2013.
The major goal of the campaign is to locate lost Eagles and reconnect with them while updating and expanding the EFAA membership.
Each day of the campaign, new information will be publicized on the Eagle Football Alumni Association's Facebook page in an effort to link up with former Eagles. A different Eagle Jersey number, beginning with 99 and ending with the number one, will be posted online each day along with the list of those players who wore that day's jersey number. Former Eagles, or their family or friends, will be directed to a secure online form to submit contact information for those former players who are listed.
The EFAA asks for all Eagle alumni, including those who are current EFAA members, to go online and submit their current information. In addition, the EFAA requests that anyone who knows any of the persons listed to please submit their contact information on their behalf in the hopes of locating as many Eagle Football Alumni as possible.
If a former player misses the day that his jersey number is listed, he may still enter his contact information by going to the EFAA Facebook page and scrolling back on the designated link until his jersey number is found.
Unfortunately, every former player's name and number is not in our data base. If a player's name is left out of the daily list, the EFAA requests that that player's name, and as much information as possible, be submitted.
The EFAA recognizes that Eagle Football Alumni includes those who made daily sacrifices for the Eagles as coaches, managers and trainers, and requests that their contact information be submitted so that their names are in the organization's database.
