Sports Network Honors Russell on All-America Team

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - A consensus All-American the past two seasons, it should be no surprise that Georgia Southern's Brent Russell (Comer, Ga.) was a Preseason FCS All-America by the Sports Network.
Russell, a first team selection by the website after the 2011 season, was again chosen to the preseason first team after posting a team-best 16.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks last season. The senior defensive tackle also finished fourth on the team with 67 tackles, two pass breakups and a blocked kick.
