
Former Eagle Leonard Daggett Passed Away

STATESBORO, Ga. - Former Georgia Southern Football player, Leonard Daggett, passed away on Friday after succumbing to injuries suffered in a motorcycle crash on March 4th in Marietta, Ga. Daggett played from 2001-2004 with the Eagles and graduated from GSU in 2005.
The former offensive lineman played for both Paul Johnson and Mike Sewak. He was recruited to Georgia Southern by Ivin Jasper and was coached by current offensive coordinator Brent Davis.
Arrangements have been set for this weekend in Florida with the viewing Friday, March 16th, from 5-7 p.m. and funeral Saturday, March 17th, at 2:30 p.m. at the Metropolitan Baptist Church at 474 King Street in Cocoa, Fla.
