Deadline for Purchasing Alabama Tickets Approaches

STATESBORO, Ga. - The deadline for purchasing tickets for Georgia Southern's November 19th football game at Alabama rapidly approaches with availability only through the close of business on Friday, June 17th. Donors and season ticket holders will not be able to order tickets for the game against the Crimson Tide through the Georgia Southern Athletics Ticket Office after this date. As in previous seasons with road games that require priority ticket orders, Priority Points rankings on the order form determine the number of tickets each season ticket holder and donor may purchase.
A change in the timeline for the purchase of student tickets allows Georgia Southern and East Georgia College students with valid IDs to obtain those tickets beginning Friday, June 10th, through Thursday, June 30th. Student tickets may be purchased in person or ordered by calling 1-800-478-9467. Students are limited to a maximum of two tickets per ID and the tickets will be available for pick up the week of September 12th.
Game tickets for the game at Bryant-Denny Stadium are $45 each. An additional $2.50 processing fee for each ticket will be assessed and VISA and Mastercard are the only accepted credit cards allowed for Alabama away game ticket orders. For donor orders, payment information may be mailed to the Georgia Southern Athletics Ticket Office at P.O. Box 8115-01, Statesboro, Georgia, 30460, or dropped off in person at the Cowart Building located adjacent to Paulson Stadium (203 Lanier Drive, Statesboro). The office is open for orders from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Credit cards will be charged when ticket orders are fulfilled and tickets for the away games will be mailed to donors in the first two weeks in August along with the 2011 Georgia Southern football season tickets. Contributors to the Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation at all levels, including young alumni, are eligible to purchase tickets for this game. Fans can make their donations and order tickets in the same transaction. Seating requests will be met using the Priority Points system.
