Priority Ticket Orders for Alabama Game Due June 17th

STATESBORO, Ga. - Tickets for Georgia Southern's November 19th football game at Alabama will be available for purchase by season ticket holders and Eagle Fund donors through the close of business on June 17th. As in previous seasons with road games that require priority ticket orders, Priority Points rankings will determine the number of tickets each season ticket holder and donor may purchase. Letters and order forms were mailed from the Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation on Monday, May 2nd. The Alabama Athletics Department requested that all unsold visitor tickets be returned to its ticket office in June.
Georgia Southern and East Georgia College students with valid IDs will be able to purchase tickets at the beginning of the Fall 2011 semester. Details on student sales will be released at a later date.
Ticket eligibility information for the game at Alabama is based on an individual's Priority Points and the number of tickets that may be ordered is indicated on each form. Priority Points were calculated based on pre-determined criteria which included the current year's donation (if applicable), consecutive membership years (if applicable), cumulative season ticket purchases for football, men's basketball and baseball, and possible points for donor referrals.
Game tickets for the game at Bryant-Denny Stadium are $45 each. An additional $2.50 processing and mailing fee for each ticket will be assessed and credit cards are the only accepted form of payment allowed for Alabama away game ticket orders. Forms and payment information may be mailed to the Georgia Southern Athletics Ticket Office at P.O. Box 8115-01, Statesboro, Georgia, 30460, or dropped off in person at the Cowart Building located adjacent to Paulson Stadium (203 Lanier Drive, Statesboro).
Orders will be filled using the Priority Points system to determine availability and seating location. Credit cards will be charged when ticket orders are fulfilled and tickets for the away games will be mailed in the first two weeks in August along with the 2011 Georgia Southern football season tickets. The renewal period for all 2010 Georgia Southern season ticket holders runs through June 30th. New orders for season tickets are being taken, but seat placement will not occur until after the renewal period ends for current season ticket holders.
