Charlotte and Georgia Southern Agree to Home-and-Home Series

CHARLOTTE, N.C. & STATESBORO, Ga. - UNC Charlotte and Georgia Southern have agreed to terms for a home-and-home football series beginning in 2014. The Eagles will play at the new 49ers football stadium on October 25, 2014. The 49ers return the trip with a game at Paulson Stadium on September 26, 2015.
The 49ers will play their first year of football in 2013 at the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision level.
Georgia Southern has previously announced its Football Bowl Subdivision opponents for those seasons. The Eagles are slated to play at LSU on September 13th during the 2014 season and open the 2015 season at Georgia Tech on September 5th.
