SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Georgia Southern freshman Kwajelin Holsendolph and College of Charleston freshman Dena O'Brien were named Southern Conference Women's Co-Outdoor Track Athletes of the Week for their performances in meets last weekend. The selections are made by the league's track and field coaches.
Holsendolph, from Hinesville, Ga., set personal records in the 100m Hurdles and the 100m Dash at the UCF Invitational last weekend. Her time of 14.06 in the 100m Hurdles placed her in the top five in the Georgia Southern record book in that event. In the 100m Dash, she ran a 12.19, which ranks her in the top five of the Eagles' times this season. Holsendolph also anchored the 4x100m and the 4x400m Relays for the Eagles this past weekend.
