Playoff Selection Show and Ticket Information Set

STATESBORO, Ga. - With a 7-1 Southern Conference record, the Georgia Southern Football team won the 2011 Southern Conference Championship and received the league's automatic bid into the FCS Playoffs last week. The Eagles will await the unveiling of the bracket and will watch the selection show live on ESPNU Sunday at 10 a.m. in the Bishop Building.
The Georgia Southern Athletic Ticket Office has finalized the ticket information for the home playoff games. Season ticket holders will have until November 22nd to renew their seats for the playoffs. After that point all remaining seats will be opened up to non-season ticket holders. One change for the playoffs, students will have to purchase a ticket for $5 and will need to present their Eagle I.D. when buying the ticket.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.georgiasoutherneagles.com or by calling 1-800-GSU-WINS. Students will need to come in person to the ticket office or the University Store.
