Head Coach Erk Russell and the Georgia Southern Eagles played their first intrasquad game at Dublin High School's Shamrock Stadium 30 years ago Halloween night.
The Blue vs. White game was a fundraiser sponsored by Dublin/Laurens County supporters of Coach Russell and Georgia Southern. Tickets for the pre-game barbeque were $25 to hear Coach Russell speak about the new Eagle Football program. Tickets for the game were $4 each.
