150 Georgia Southern Student-Athletes Earned a 3.0 or Better in the Fall

STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern Student-Athletes had an impressive fall semester in the classroom with 150 Eagles posting a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better. Nearly half of those student-athletes appeared on either the Dean's or President's List. Georgia Southern student-athletes must be enrolled full-time with a minimum of 12 credit hours during the course of a semester as a requirement of their participation.
Members of all 15 sports teams were represented on the list of student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or better. The President's List included 20 Eagles from 11 different sports who earned a perfect 4.0 in the fall. Another 52 student-athletes were selected to the Dean's List for earning a 3.5 or better GPA last semester.
Swimming and Diving led the way on the President's List with four student-athletes. Track & Field and Volleyball added three athletes each. Football, softball, women's soccer and women's tennis had two players with a 4.0 GPA.
