Russell Voted Lineman Of The Week

STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern fans selected Brent Russell (Comer, Ga.), a sophomore defensive tackle, as the inaugural Utilities Protection Center "Lineman of the Week" for the 2010 season.
In the Eagles' season opener Russell finished with a team best five tackles, along with two sacks in the first quarter, one tackle for loss and one pass breakup. Russell gained close to 600 votes for his efforts in the 48-3 win for the Eagles over Savannah State on September 4.
