Junior Eagle Club Returns for 2010-11 Season

STATESBORO, Ga. - Returning for the 2010-11 season, the Junior Eagle Club offers a fun and exciting way for children to get involved with Georgia Southern Athletics. With numerous privileges exclusive to members only, a Junior Eagle Club membership is an opportune way for young Eagle fans to get excited about the upcoming athletic seasons.
The Junior Eagle Club is available for children up to the age of 12. Priced at only $15 per child for an annual membership, the Junior Eagle Club offers free admission into several Georgia Southern Athletics events as well as an official membership card and goodie bag. In addition, all Junior Eagle Club members will receive or be eligible for the following benefits:
-Bi-monthly newsletter with fun features and interviews with Eagle student-athletes and coaches
-Birthday wish from GUS
-Free Junior Eagle Club t-shirt
-Invitations to Junior Eagle Club events throughout the 2010-11 season
-Junior Eagle Club goodie bag including promotional items and spirit band
-Free admission to select Georgia Southern Athletics events which includes a home football game, one men's and women's basketball game each month of the season and all Sunday baseball games
In addition, for the 2010-11 season, Junior Eagle Club members are also eligible to:
-Be named an honorary captain at selected home football games
-Serve as ball boy/girl at home men's and women's basketball games
-Line up with the Eagle Baseball team during the pre-game playing of the national anthem
Several Junior Eagle Club Days have already been set for the fall 2010 athletics season. Listed below are the home dates chosen for each sport.
Football
September 4th, Georgia Southern vs. Savannah State at 6 p.m.
Men's Soccer
October 10th, Georgia Southern vs. UNC Greensboro at 2 p.m.
October 29th, Georgia Southern vs. Elon at 3 p.m.
Women's Soccer
September 19th, Georgia Southern vs. Coastal Carolina at 3 p.m.
October 24th, Georgia Southern vs. Samford at 2 p.m.
Volleyball
October 2nd, Georgia Southern vs. Chattanooga at 6 p.m.
November 6th, Georgia Southern vs. College of Charleston at 7 p.m.
