Bulloch County Eagle Club Football Season Kickoff Event Set for Sept. 2

STATESBORO, Ga. - The Bulloch County Eagle Club invites all Georgia Southern fans to attend the annual Football Kickoff Dinner and Pep Rally to start the 2010 Eagle Football Season. The dinner will be held Thursday, September 2nd, at 6:30 p.m. in the Nessmith-Lane Ballroom at the Center for Continuing Education on the Georgia Southern campus.
Join fellow alumni and fans to support the Eagles at the event, featuring Eagle Head Football Coach Jeff Monken as the guest speaker. A mixed grill of chicken and beef, macaroni and cheese, mixed vegetables, green beans, tomato casserole, Caesar salad and peanut butter pie will be available on the buffet. Also in attendance at the dinner will be the Center for Wildlife Education, The University Store, the Georgia Southern Cheerleaders and everyone's favorite eagle, GUS. At approximately 7:45 p.m., following the dinner, Coach Monken will speak to the fans gathered for the pep rally at the Russell Union Rotunda.
