Georgia Southern heads to Swamp for 2013 game with Florida

STATESBORO, Ga. -- The University of Florida and Georgia Southern University have agreed to terms for a November 23, 2013, game at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Fla., Director of Athletics Sam Baker announced today (May 21). The Eagles will return to "The Swamp" for the first time since the 1996 season and for the third time in the history of the program. The Eagles and Gators first met in 1986.
Upcoming games with Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) opponents include a November 19, 2011, meeting at Alabama and a 2015 season opening game on September 5th against Georgia Tech and former Eagle head coach Paul Johnson.
