Georgia Southern Football 2010 Home Game Kickoff Times Set

STATESBORO, Ga. - Paulson Stadium will play host to five Georgia Southern University home football games this fall with the Eagles kicking off the 2010 season at 6 p.m. on September 4th versus Savannah State. Following two road games at Navy and Coastal Carolina, the Eagles return for their Southern Conference opener, a 6 p.m. kickoff, on September 25th against Elon.
Georgia Southern enjoys a bye week on October 2nd and welcomes Wofford to Statesboro for an October 9th contest and Family Weekend. The Terriers-Eagles game will begin at 6 p.m. Playing at Chattanooga and at The Citadel the next two weekends, Georgia Southern and Samford will meet in Paulson Stadium on October 30th at 2 p.m.
Appalachian State will be the final home regular-season opponent on November 6th. The date against the Mountaineers will also be the University's Homecoming game, with kickoff scheduled for 2 p.m.
The Eagles will kick off at Navy at 3:30 p.m on September 11th. The Georgia Southern-Chattanooga game on October 16th will begin at 6 p.m. and the October 23rd Eagles-Bulldogs contest at The Citadel is slated for a 1 p.m. start. A 3 p.m. start is listed for Georgia Southern at Western Carolina November 13th. Times for games at Coastal Carolina (September 18) and Furman (November 20) have not yet been released.
All times are subject to change due to television broadcasts.
Season tickets for the five home games of the 2010 campaign are $120 each, based on availability. Seating in some Paulson Stadium sections may require a minimum donation to the Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation. Offering value for families and fans, the Subway Family Plan returns for the 10th season. The Subway Family Plan offers reserved seating for five home games in Sections A and G of the South Stands. A minimum purchase of three season tickets at $65 each is required, with additional tickets available at the same price.
Single-game tickets for the Savannah State, Elon, Wofford and Samford games are $25 each with the Appalachian State single-game ticket for Homecoming set at $27. All youth single-game tickets (ages 3-12 years of age) are $10 for grass seating.
Orders for single-game tickets will be filled after season ticket renewals and sales.
