STATESBORO, Ga. - The 2010 season continues for the Georgia Southern Football team (7-4) as it will play host to South Carolina State (9-2) Saturday, November 27, 2010, at Paulson Stadium. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. The Eagles currently own a three-game win streak which includes victories over then-top-ranked and previously undefeated Appalachian State (21-14 OT) and a 32-28 win at rival Furman on Saturday.

Georgia Southern ranks first all-time with 38 NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision playoff wins and six national championships. The Eagles make their 17th playoff appearance in 2010 which ranks fourth among all participants. Georgia Southern last participated in the FCS playoffs in 2005 and last played host to a postseason game in 2004.

Playoff game tickets are $25 for adults for either reserved or general admission tickets. Youth playoff game tickets are $10 for children between the ages of 3-12. Tickets for Georgia Southern and South Carolina State students are $5 each.

Season ticket holders may purchase their seats for the playoff games online at GeorgiaSouthernEagles.com beginning Sunday, November 21st. The Athletics Ticket Office will be open Monday, November 22nd, through Wednesday, November 24th from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Cowart Building at 203 Lanier Drive, Statesboro. Season ticket holders may also order their playoff game tickets by calling 800-478-9467 or 912-478-9467 beginning Monday at 8 a.m.

Tickets will go on sale to non-season ticket holders beginning at midnight Tuesday for online sales and at 8 a.m. Wednesday for phone or in-person orders.

Tickets for Georgia Southern and South Carolina State students will be available Monday through Wednesday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Athletics Ticket Office at the Cowart Building and Friday, November 26th, from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Student tickets will also be on sale on game day, three hours prior to kickoff at the Cowart Building and two hours prior to kickoff at Gate 4. Students must present a valid student ID to receive the $5 student ticket price.
