Russell Garners Georgia 811 "Lineman of the Week" Honors

STATESBORO, Ga. -- For the sixth time this season, Georgia Southern fans have voted sophomore defensive tackle Brent Russell (Comer, Ga.) the Georgia 811 "Lineman of the Week." Russell gained 62 percent of the votes for his efforts in the Eagles' victory against number-one ranked and previously undefeated Appalachian State on November 6th.
Russell finished last week's game with six tackles, two and a half of those being for a loss, and a shared sack in the thrilling win over the Mountaineers.
Finishing second was junior offensive tackle Brandavious Mann, who had 10 knockdowns for the game.
