Fall Family Weekend Scheduled During October 17 Football Game

STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern's football game against Southern Conference foe Chattanooga on Saturday, October 17, is part of the University's Family Weekend activities. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Paulson Stadium.
The Office of Orientation and Parent Programs at Georgia Southern will host the annual Fall Family Weekend October 16-18, 2009. The main events for the weekend include a dessert reception, Parents Association breakfast, pre-game tailgate, and the Eagles' football game against Chattanooga. The complete 2009 Fall Family Weekend Package costs $35 and includes tickets to all events plus discounts to local attractions and an official Family Weekend T-Shirt. Partial packages are available for $25 and exclude a football ticket (designed for season ticket holders and Georgia Southern students). The Parents Association will host a brunch on Saturday morning which is free for members of the Parents Association and $7 for additional guests. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
The deadline to register for this year's Fall Family Weekend is October 1, 2009.
