Georgia Southern Football Preview on the Air

STATESBORO, Ga. - A special preseason edition of Inside Georgia Southern Football will debut this Friday (Aug. 7) on television channel WGSA CW-13 in Savannah. The 30-minute preview show will air six times prior to the Saturday, September 5th season-opener and can also be seen on the www.GeorgiaSouthernEagles.com website.
Former Eagle standout Terry Harvin and head coach Chris Hatcher give an in-depth look at the 2009 Eagles and talk all things Georgia Southern Football.
Also during the show Harvin talks to Director of Athletics Sam Baker, Athletic Foundation President John Mulherin (benefits from being an Eagle Fund member) and Eagle Sports Marketing Director Brent Jones (season ticket options and marketing themes and promotions at Paulson Stadium).
"This summer as we discussed how to best relay the excitement of attending Georgia Southern Football games we developed the idea of a 30 minute show. We wanted to convey to football fans throughout the Coastal Empire the excitement of game day at Paulson Stadium," said Baker. "This should be an exciting year for head coach Chris Hatcher and his team. Our goal is to fill Paulson Stadium on Saturdays this fall."
