
SoCon Announces Changes to 2009 TV Schedule

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Due to recent changes in contractual obligations of Fox Sports Net, the Southern Conference and SportSouth have made two changes to the television schedule for the upcoming football season.
The September 19 game between Western Carolina and Georgia Southern will not be televised on SportSouth as originally scheduled. The game will remain as a 7 p.m. ET start in Statesboro.
The starting time of the October 10 contest between Chattanooga and Samford has been moved back one hour. The game will be broadcast at 4 p.m. ET (3 p.m. CT) at Samford's Seibert Stadium in Birmingham, Ala.
