Little Eagles Football Camp and Meet the Football Eagles

STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Football and Eagle Sports Marketing have set the date for the third annual Little Eagles Football Camp and Meet the Football Eagles for Saturday, August 22nd, at Paulson Stadium and the Gene Bishop Field House. Both events are free and open to the public.
Head football coach Chris Hatcher, his staff and players will offer the Little Eagles Football Camp in the morning. Sign up will take place from 9-9:45 a.m. for children ages 4-12 and the event is free. The Little Eagles Football Camp will run from 9:45-10:45 as campers will participate in various football agility drills.
Following the Little Eagles Football Camp, the public is invited to the Gene Bishop Field House for 'Meet the Football Eagles'. This will be the first chance to get the 2009 schedule posters, as well as autographs and pictures taken with members of the Eagle Football program.
Fans can also purchase football season tickets and the 2009 football media guides. The University Store will be on hand to sell Georgia Southern merchandise, and GUS and the GSU cheerleaders will also be in attendance.
“Over the past two years, the Football 'Meet the Eagles' and Little Eagles Camp have turned into two of our most popular events. Coach Hatcher, his staff and players do a tremendous job putting on the free camps and we are looking forward to an even bigger crowd this season. There is a lot of anticipation for the upcoming season and this is a great opportunity for our fans to meet the 2009 Eagles,” said Director of Eagle Sports Marketing Brent Jones.
