32 Student-Athletes Named to Spring Academic All-SoCon List

Students-athletes eligible for the list must hold a 3.2 grade point average or better entering the spring season and must have competed in at least one-half of their team's competitions during the recently concluded season.
Student-athletes who led the way in GPA for Georgia Southern were Eagles' Softball player, Amanda Glover, Biology major, carried a perfect 4.0, Men's Tennis player, Thomas Bekkers, 3.93 GPA Economics major, and Women's Tennis player, Melanie Rolle, 3.89 GPA Broadcasting major.
The 320 student-athletes from all 12 Southern Conference institutions representing women's and men's tennis, baseball, softball, men's and women' golf and track and field, averaged a 3.56 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
