2009 Football Season Schedule Cards Released

Statesboro, Ga. -- Making their debut in recent days, Georgia Southern Football schedule cards for 2009 season feature four designs and five Eagle players. Action photos of sophomore quarterback Lee Chapple, senior offensive lineman Cole Fountain, senior cornerback Carson Hill and senior defenders Darryl Pasco and Ronnie Wiggins grace the front panels of the cards while the other panels of the fold-over cards contain season and single-game ticket information, promotions for the upcoming season and sponsor logos. Two of the cards sport a traditional navy blue background while the other two use a rich gold behind the Eagles' home jerseys.
Fans can collect all four card designs by visiting Statesboro/Bulloch County business supporters of Georgia Southern Athletics, the Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation Office, GSU Ticket Office and Alumni Relations, as well as the Eagle Sports Marketing office. As part of their sponsorships with Georgia Southern Athletics, the following entities have their logos displayed on the 2009 football schedule cards: Farmers & Merchants Bank, Holiday Inn of Statesboro, US Army ROTC and Walmart Supercenter.
