Fountain Earns Fifth UPC Lineman of the Week Honor

STATESBORO, Ga. -- Senior offensive lineman Cole Fountain was selected as Utilities Protection Center "Lineman of the Week" for his efforts November 21st game against The Citadel. An overwhelming 71.8 percent of the fan votes prompted Fountain's fifth honor this season and second in as many weeks.
Fountain and the Eagles offense helped out-gain The Citadel 168 to 129 in total yards and only allowed one sack. The senior offensive lineman from Cartersville, Ga., Fountain also earned the Utilities Protection Center "Lineman of the Week" honors following the Albany and Chattanooga games earlier this season.
Georgia Southern fans voted each week to determine the "Lineman of the Week" in 2009 and their participation has been appreciated.
