
Blake DeBartola Voted UPC "Lineman of the Week"

STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern fans flocked to the www.GeorgiaSouthernEagles.com website and voted Blake DeBartola the Utilities Protection Center "Lineman of the Week" for his performance in the October 3rd game at Wofford.
In the 26-21 Georgia Southern victory over the Terriers, DeBartola and the offensive line helped Georgia Southern outgain Wofford in overall yardage. The redshirt-freshman offensive center from Fayetteville, Ga., made his first collegiate start and assisted the offense in scoring a touchdown in the opening drive of the game. DeBartola earned his first UPC "Lineman of the Week" honor with 54.7 percent of the vote, with Brandavious Mann earning 43.3 percent of the total vote.
