UPC Lineman of the Week

The entire Georgia Southern offensive line has been selected as the Utilities Protection Center Lineman of the Week for their effort in last week's game vs. UGA. Although the Eagles came up a bit short in the loss, the offense showed that it is potent and will threaten to light up the scoreboard every time that they take the field. Georgia Southern racked up almost 300 yards against the top ranked team in the FBS thanks in large part to a line that was able to protect the quarterback and open up holes for Eagle running backs. Because of their impressive performance, 80% of this week's vote was given to the offensive line as a unit. Congratulations to the entire offensive line for being selected as the Utilities Protection Center Lineman of the Week.
