2009: Started the season at third base and went one for two in the season opener (Feb 13)... Hit .227 with three home runs and plated 10 RBIs... Went three for four and drove in two runs against Florida A&M (Feb 17)... Recorded three straight hits including a double to finish out the game... Drove in two runs with a double in the third and plated another run with a sacrifice fly in the fourth inning against Oakland (Feb 22)... Went two for three with a home run and a RBI in game two of the Chattanooga series (Apr 25).
Pre-Georgia Southern: Attended Tennessee Tech University... Hit .272 as a sophomore and led TTU to a 32-30-1 record and a place in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament championship game... Named to 2008 OVC All-Tournament Team... Eagles won 2007 OVC title and advanced to Tuscaloosa Region final.
High School: Attended Greenbrier High School... Named 2005 Region Player of the Year... First team all-state as a senior and second team all-state as a junior... Led Wolfpack to four straight region titles and a state crown in 2004... Best defensive player... Wendy's High School Heisman nominee... Earned four varsity letters in basketball...
