Jessica Harris joined the Women's Basketball coaching staff as a graduate assistant in the summer of 2008 and was promoted to an assistant coach over the summer.
Her duties include working with the post players, the coaching staff, academics, arranging travel plans, and facilitating tape exchange.
“When I met her she impressed me. I was doing a camp at her high school where she was coaching. I was impressed by the way she worked and handled herself out on the court. In the month or two that she has already been here it has been a world of difference. She is doing a great job and picking up things fast. She pays a lot of attention to detail,” said Coach Cram.
Harris completed requirements for a Master's Degree in Sport Management from Georgia Southern in August 2009.
She joins the staff after coaching the Brantley County Middle School team.
Harris received her degree in Middle School Education from Armstrong Atlantic.
She played basketball at Brantley County high school where she helped lead her team to a regional championship in her senior season and played in the North South high school All-Star game.
She and husband, Drew, were married in March 2008.
