HIGH SCHOOL: Three-time All-Hillsborough County selection... earned All-State honors last fall... recorded 361 tackles throughout his stellar prep career... finished his senior year making 151 stops... offensively rushed for 600 yards and 13 touchdowns... joins brother Ricky Ponton as a signee with the Georgia Southern program... played for coach Earl Garcia... selected to play in the Hillsborough County All-Star game... also participated in the FHSA North-South game last fall.
