A four-year letterman at offensive tackle (1983-86). Helped the Eagles to first two national championships in 1985 and 1986. Chosen first team All-America by the Associated Press following senior season. Born March 14, 1964 in Vidalia , Georgia . One of the greatest athletes to ever play at Georgia Southern. Moved into the starting lineup as a senior after playing a reserve role for his first three campaigns. Originally a tight end for the Eagles. Played professional football with the Los Angeles Rams and the Washington Redskins. Was an All-Coastal Empire selection by the Savannah News-Press while at Vidalia High.
