2006-2007: Outdoor ? Helped Georgia Southern earn their first-ever SoCon Championship during the spring...Threw a personal best (43'03”) in the shot put event at the Southern Conference Championships...Had a personal best in the javelin during the spring throwing 134'6.5”.
Prep: Earned 2002 All-County honors...Three-sport standout in volleyball, basketball and track at Clay High School...Team captain her senior year in all three sports...All-Conference in both volleyball and basketball her junior and senior seasons...MVP in volleyball and basketball her final season.
Personal: Born October 3, 1984 in Jacksonville, Fla...Daughter of Jean and Marie Charles...Was a four-year member of the Eagles volleyball squad...Charles received her undergraduate degree in Sport Management with a minor in Business from Georgia Southern in the fall of 2007...She is currently working towards her MBA at Georgia Southern.
