UNDERGRAD (2003-04): Played for the Reinhardt College Eagles.
HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner at Westfield HS in Perry, Ga... Voted team captain as a junior and senior... In 2002 the Hornets won the region championship during her junior year, and the following season, finished second in state... Was named to the All-State team as a senior... Also earned a varsity letter in soccer.
PERSONAL: Born Ashley Burger on August 2, 1985 in Omaha, Neb. to Dave & Kim Burger... Enjoys riding horses, working out and spending time with family and friends... Would want Sandra Bulloch to portray her in a movie... Moment in history she wants to see is the resurrection of Jesus... People would be surprised to know that she set a middle school record in the mile that still stands today... Names the biggest influence on her life as an athlete as her father because he always pushed her to be the best in all aspects of her life... Favorite place on campus is Sweetheart Circle during Christmastime with the lights... Favorite sports figure is David Beckham... Favorite ice cream is cake batter... Pre-game ritual is prayer.
