JUNIOR (2007-08): Played in all 30 games... Started the first eight games of the season... Averaged 3.8 points per game, 2.7 rebounds per game, 1.6 assists per game and 1 steal a game... Led the team rebounding, with five, in the Jacksonville game (11/9)... Scored seven points against Georgia (11/13)...  Dished out six assists in the 63-44 win over Jacksonville State (11/20)... Scored 13 points in 31 minutes against the University of Texas at San Antonio (11/24)... Also set a new career high in the UTSA game with six made free throws... Went two for two from the three point line and scored nine points against Morgan State (12/28)... Scored eight points in the 70-51 win over Elon (2/4)... Pulled down seven boards against Furman (2/11).

 

SOPHOMORE (2006-07):  Started in 26 of 31 games played... Blocked a team-high one shot at South Florida (11/19)... Grabbed a team-high five rebounds and two steals versus Georgia (11/21)... Scored a career-high 18 points versus Western Illinois (11/25) going 4-of-9 from three point land, helping lift the team to a 64-60 win, which broke a five-game skid... In the same game, led the team with three assists, three steals and two blocked shots... Had a great all-around performance at Central Florida (12/1) scoring 11 points with three rebounds, four assists and one blocked shot... Made a key defensive play when she blocked a potential UCF fastbreak layup, forcing a jump ball, giving the Lady Eagles possession with 58 seconds remaining, and a 72-69 lead... Also dished out a team-high four assists at UCF... Made a career-high seven field goals good for 15 points versus Jacksonville (12/13)... Went 3-of-5 from the free-throw line versus Troy (12/21)... Went 5-of-10 (.500) from the field in a win versus Furman (12/30)... Led the team with a career-high tying four assists versus Davidson (01/13)... Also had a season-high tying three steals in a career-best 32 minutes of play versus the Wildcats... Pulled down a season-high six rebounds and four steals versus Appalachian State (01/20)... Dished out a team-high tying four assists at Chattanooga (01/22)... Had a career-high and game-high eight assists at Furman (01/27)... Scored a career-best 20 points at Western Carolina (02/12) making a career-high 8-of-11 field goals... Matched a career-high and team-best five steals versus Chattanooga (02/19).

 

FRESHMAN (2005-06):  Started in three of 23 games played... Made college debut at Centenary (12/10) scoring five points, grabbing four rebounds, dishing out two assists, blocking one shot and recording one steal... Went a perfect 4-of-4 from the charity stripe versus UNC Greensboro (1/9)... Had another perfect performance from the foul stripe, going 5-of-5 at Western Carolina (1/16)... Grabbed a season-best 11 rebounds versus Furman (1/28), including a season-high five offensive and six defensive boards... Had another perfect record from the free-throw line, netting 6-of-6 versus Wofford (1/30)... Dished out three assists on four occasions... Shot 3-of-4 from behind the three-point arc versus Davidson (2/11)... Scored a season-best 11 points going 4-of-9 from the field and added a season-best five steals versus UNC Greensboro (3/3).

 

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended West Charlotte Senior HS... Earned four varsity letters and was team captain two years... MECA-8 Player of the Year runner-up and First Team All-Conference as a senior... Totaled over 1,200 points, 500 assists and 250 steals in her career... Named to Charlotte Observer's All-Observer Team after junior and senior seasons... Played for Coach Jaime Grimshaw.

 

PERSONAL: Born Ashley Chimere Rivens on June 1, 1986 in Charlotte, N.C. to Martin & Carolyn Rivens... Father Martin Rivens played baseball at Gardner-Webb... Moment in history she would like to see is the Civil Rights Movement... The three people she would like to invite are Will Smith, Oprah Winfrey and Lil Wayne... Chose to attend Georgia Southern because it is family oriented... Favorite place on campus is the IT building... Lists her parents as the biggest influence in her life because they always believed in her... Favorite ice cream is vanilla.

 

MAJOR: Computer Science.
