Enters fall camp as a starter... will be looked upon for senior leadership on a defense looking to improve off the 2007 campaign... should be a candidate again for post-season honors... JUNIOR (2007): Second Team All-Southern Conference (coaches)... started in nine of his 10 games played... tied for fourth on the team in tackles (41), first among the defensive linemen... entered his junior year with only seven career tackles... came up with four tackles in the Coastal Carolina game... recorded a then career-high six tackles, including one for a loss, and forced a fumble that led to a touchdown in the South Dakota State game... at Elon recorded four tackles and shared on a sack... recorded a career-high nine tackles in the win at Appalachian State... in The Citadel game, recorded the team's lone sack, a 7-yard loss, and had a pass break-up... seven tackles in the win at Wofford were third-most on the defense... had two tackles and a pass break-up against Furman... missed the Colorado State game with an injury... SOPHOMORE (2006): Played in all 11 games... four tackles, including 2.5 for a loss... one stop against Central Connecticut State, Chattanooga, Elon and The Citadel... TFL at Chattanooga and Citadel, shared a TFL against Central Connecticut...
