Cheerleader Day Set for Saturday, September 29

STATESBORO, Ga. - Before the game this Saturday against Western Carolina, the Georgia Southern Cheerleaders will be conducting their Cheerleading Clinic for kids 5 - 14 years old.
The clinic will be from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm at the Hanner Field House. At 12:30 pm parents should pick up their kids so the cheerleaders can make preparations for the game. At 3:00 pm the kids who attended the clinic should meet at the gate at the bottom of the hill to come on the field to create the tunnel for the football team as they run on the field. After the team has run on the field the kids should exit to their parents the same way they entered.
The cost is $30 and includes instruction, kids ticket, and a t-shirt. Proceeds will go to the Cheerleaders' efforts to compete this year.
