Transferring her outstanding playing skills on the court to leadership experience on the sidelines, Lee DuBose, a four-year letterwinner for the Lady Eagles (2003-2006), joined head coach Rusty Cram as a student assistant for the 2006-07 campaign and continues on the coaching staff for her second year.
Having already played alongside each of this year's returning players, she will be looked upon for leadership and direction.
Her four-year career as a Lady Eagle saw her numbers hover among the season- and career-leaders in three-point and free-throw shooting percentage. At the conclusion of the 2005-06 campaign, DuBose broke the single-season free-throw shooting record, burying 52-of-61 (.852) charity shots. Her knack for shooting behind the stripe and the arc will translate into added experience as she assists the GSU shooting game.
