Junior 2008-09: Member of CCSA All-Academic Team... Swam to a time of 1:02.31 in the 100 Fly at the CCSA Championships... Recorded a time of 18:46.04 in the 1650 Free (Feb 21)... Swam to a time of 2:18.69 in the 200 Fly at the CCSA Championships... Named to Dean's list in the fall semester and President's list in the spring.
Sophomore 2007-08: Earned a spot on the CCSA All-Academic squad for her efforts in the classroom... Swam a season best 1:01.58 in the 100y Fly against Savannah College of Art & Design and New Orleans... Achieved the third best time of the season in the 200y Fly, touching the wall in 2:13.88 versus Radford, Gardner-Webb and Florida A&M... Named to President's List for the spring semester.
Freshman 2006-07: Titled three times in both the 100y Fly and 200y Fly... Swam three career bests at the Northeast Conference Championships: 100y Fly (58.61), 200y Fly (2:07.64 - third place), and 200y IM (2:11.84)... Titled in the 200y Free against Radford...Finished second at the Highlander Invitational as a member of the 200y Free Relay team... Shared in two 400y Free Relay Titles: at the Highlander Invitational and at home against SCAD/Wingate... Achieved another relay title at the Highlander Invitational (800y Free Relay; 7:56.74)... Named to the NEC All-Conference team for the 200y Fly.
Prep: A four year letter winner at D.U. Fletcher High School...Swam under head coach Bob Anderson... A four year state qualifier...Awarded All-Conference honors two years... Set school record in the 100 Fly...Honored as team MVP all four years... Also lettered in track and field.
Personal: Born October 10, 1987 in Jacksonville, Fla. to parents Leslie and Barnes Sale... Number one sports highlight was the first time she swam under a minute in the 100 Fly... Favorite professional sports team is the USA soccer team... Listens to John Mayer... Hobbies include going to the beach, running, kayaking, reading and sports.
