Jeremy Hinton joins the Georgia Southern track & field coaching staff where he will begin his coaching career.
Hinton will guide a solid throwing unit and will tremendously aide in the recruiting efforts with his ties to the state of
“Coach Hinton is a newcomer to the coaching atmosphere,” said GSU head track & field coach Natalie Smith. “He is adjusting and having to coach at a really high level because he's dealing with some really good athletes and I think he's up to the task.”
Hinton was a multi-sport standout at Garner HS in Garner, N.C. The 2001 graduate lettered four times in track & field during his prep career earning team MVP honors in the throws. During his freshman year he was named Most Improved. He also received a letter in wrestling competing on the squad three years.
