Toys for Tots a Huge Success

Georgia Southern Basketball, Eagle Sports Marketing, Toys for Tots and Christmas in the Boro teamed up, Thursday night (Dec. 20), to collect more than 175 toys and over $100 in cash donations. All of the items collected will be used locally for the Toys for Tots program and Christmas in Boro.

"This year was a huge success and I greatly appreciate everyone's hard work and effort into making this Christmas and Holiday season a little more special for the youth of Statesboro," said Brent Jones, Director of Eagle Sports Marketing. "The cash donations and the toys really make a difference and go a long way this time of year."

Christmas in the Boro is in its 10^th year of existence and has helped over 1,800 families and passed out over 2,700 toys.
